The above final report is a compilation of session summaries, situational analysis on the history education of Southeast Asia and presentations of “2013 UNESCO International Expert Meeting on the Shared History of Southeast Asia”, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand during 16-17, September 2013. in close cooperation with UNESCO Asia Pacific Regional Bureau for Education and general sponsorship of the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF). Gathering 30 experts in history, culture and EIU From Korea and 9 Southeast Asia Countries, the meeting aimed to promote intercultural dialogue and a culture of peace in Southeast Asia through shared histories.
