Organization of Training on Designing Innovative Education Projects for OOSC
As part of Educate a Child project, UNESCO Bangkok organized Training/Workshop on Designing Innovative Education Projects for OOSC from November 2nd to 4th, 2016, in Bangkok, Thailand. A total of 23 government officials in charge of NFE work from 9 countries in Southeast Asia attended the training. Participants from UNESCO CO and NGOs also attended. During the training, countries were requested to work on a specific OOSC issue (i.e., parents not valuing education for their children) by using the design thinking process in order to brainstorm strategies to address the issue effectively and design an effective, contextualized programme.
