How can education promote empathy?

This video captures the essence of a study visit in July 2019 when teachers and education officials from Bangladesh, Indonesia and Pakistan went to Japan to exchange ideas with Japanese teachers and students on how to make learning more motivating, meaningful and empowering.   

The visit was part of UNESCO's Learning for Empathy* project: A teacher exchange and support programme, sponsored by the Government of Japan.
