Overview of the function of the post
We are seeking a Decade Regional Coordination Officer who is capable of coordinating the development and implementation of UN Decade Actions.  The primary responsibilities of the incumbent will be to reinforce the function of the WESTPAC Office as a Decade Coordination Office, and promote the engagement of ocean research communities with other ocean stakeholders in the region in support of the  UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
