Workshop: Assessment Literacy and Test and Item Development and Design
Background:
In response to requests from countries in the Central Asia sub-region to receive technical assistance in the area of learning assessment, UNESCO Bangkok, as the NEQMAP Secretariat, organized a sub-regional capacity development workshop from 5 to 7 December 2016, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. With the generous support of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), the three-day workshop was organized in collaboration with UNESCO Almaty and Pearson. The workshop focused on the “Assessment Literacy and Test and Item Development and Design” and was attended by the delegates from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
