Webinar: Enhancing TVET through digital transformation in developing countries
UNESCO is pleased to announce that it will be organizing an online webinar to share key findings on the recent report entitled, “Enhancing TVET through digital transformation in developing countries”.
Technological advancements and digitalisation are profoundly reshaping our work and lifestyle, business models and operations, and government policy choices. The increasing use of digital technologies (especially post COVID) is also driving change in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
UNESCO partnered with GIZ to conduct a study about the digital transformation and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems. The report provides a conceptual framework for analysing how TVET systems are implementing initiatives benefiting from the digital transformation. It also provides five case studies of promising policies in low-and middle-income countries including Brazil, India, Jamaica, Kenya, and Tunisia.
During the online sessions practitioners from case study countries and experts from several international organizations will be discussing main findings of the report and current challenges faced by countries.
