Sustainable heritage management: New challenges, new competences

Sustainable heritage management: New challenges, new competences

UNESCO cordially invites you to a special panel on “Sustainable heritage management: New challenges, new competences” on 9 November 2020 (16.00 – 18.30, Bangkok time).

You can join us via Facebook Live.

Representatives from World Heritage Centre and Advisory bodies, including International Centre for the Study of Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), will discuss the latest thinking and trends regarding sustainable heritage management.

This event will kickstart the inaugural Sustainable Heritage Management Foundation Course.

Conducted by UNESCO Bangkok in cooperation with Think City Institute and the Asian Academy for Heritage Management, this course will upskill and reskill professionals working on heritage management, with a focus on South-East Asia, to meet new demands for sustainable development. The course is supported by the Netherlands Funds-in-Trust.

Thank you in advance for your interest and active engagement!
