Shared Groundwater Resources: UNESCO Asia-Pacific In Graphic Detail #5

Groundwater is by far the largest source of freshwater, essential to life, yet 1.7 billion people in the Asia-Pacific alone cannot access clean drinking water. Marking World Science Day for Peace and Development, UNESCO Bangkok is highlighting shared groundwater resources with the fifth in a series of infographics released in recent weeks

These infographics convey core concepts of UNESCO’s work in areas that profoundly affect the lives of people throughout the region.

We encourage everyone to share widely and utilise these resources in their own projects and campaigns.
