Safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage and the COVID-19 pandemic in the Asia-Pacific region (ICH webinar session 1)
Intangible cultural heritage has been affected by COVID-19 in many aspects, as it becomes more difficult for people to practise and present their culture, which can make heritage more vulnerable to loss and harm. This session will discuss innovative solutions for safeguarding and transmitting ICH during this challenging time.
The session features experts in the ICH field, co-organized by the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP) and UNESCO Bangkok Office.
