Rethinking Schooling for the 21st Century: The State of Education for Peace, Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in Asia

UNESCO MGIEP officially launched the new publication Rethinking Schooling for the 21st Century: The State of Education for Peace, Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in Asia on 2 November 2017 in Paris. This report builds on a project conducted by UNESCO MGIEP in partnership with UNESCO Bangkok and other UNESCO offices in the region to review the current state of incorporation of SDG 4.7 concepts in the existing education policies and curricular of 22 countries in Asia. It seeks to develop benchmarks against which future progress can be assessed.
