National SDG 4 midterm review, guidelines: Asia and the Pacific; meeting document
The National SDG 4 Midterm Review Guidelines: Asia and the Pacific document guides national authorities and SDG 4 stakeholders to organize and conduct their national SDG 4 Midterm Review.
This Review will document progress achieved towards the SDG 4 targets; experiences in implementing relevant and appropriate strategies; lessons learned; and emerging issues and challenges, as well as inform the development of strategies to accelerate progress towards achieving SDG 4 and future policy dialogue.
The Review will also consider the impacts of COVID-19 on SDG 4 implementation and measures for learning recovery, as well as national, regional and global commitments toward transforming education. In addition, the Guidelines propose key indicators, benchmark values and guiding questions to facilitate the review process and outline the basic contents and structure of the national SDG 4 Midterm Review Report.
