Manual On Rights-Based Education: Global Human Rights Requirements Made Simple

This manual aims to translate globally-accepted human rights standards into guidelines for national education strategies, and has been written as a reference tool for policy-makers and practitioners in education, as well as for those working in international development co-operation.

The fulfilment of the right to education is an ongoing process, and the same can be said of meeting global commitments to achieving Education for All. Recognition that universal human rights standards and global education strategies complement one another therefore provides the orientation of this manual.
