Join a UNESCO Study Tour to Malaysia for Pacific Island Countries: Strengthening Quality Assurance to Achieve SDG4

UNESCO Bangkok and the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) will offer a unique study tour to provide professional training on strengthening quality assurance systems in higher education and TVET from 18-27 April 2018, in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Malaysia. With generous support from the Malaysia Funds-in-Trust, UNESCO will invite approximately 30 delegates from Pacific small island developing states to join the study tour to Malaysia. 

Building on locally defined needs and a workshop held in Apia, Samoa (March 2017), this tour will train local Join a UNESCO Study Tour to Malaysia for Pacific Island Countries: Strengthening Quality Assurance to Achieve SDG4administrators on quality tools, build a pool of regional experts on QA audits, promote sharing experiences on developing QA systems and foster development of regional quality standards in line with the Revised Pacific Framework for TVET.

UNESCO encourages junior and mid-career professionals with a commitment to the quality assurance of tertiary education to participate.
